For awhile there it looked like the AFC South was going to be the worst division, but suddenly the NFC East is stealing their spotlight. Since Dallas beat Washington last night, there is a 3 way tie at the top at 5-7, with Dallas one game behind at 4-8. Philadelphia still has a game against New York and Washington, so the winner of the division will be at least 6-10 (or 5-9-2, which is basically the same thing, since ties count as a half win and half loss in the standings). But, that's as good as the division winner has to be. So, if you like that sort of thing, root for Buffalo (v. Philadelphia), Chicago (v. Washington), Green Bay (v. Dallas), and Miami (v. New York) to win this week. In the event all favorites win the rest of the games this season, I have New York winning the division at 8-8, which is decidedly less exciting.
