Carolina over New England

The Rams won an impressive victory over Tampa Bay last night, in possibly the last home game ever in St. Louis, if they wind up moving next year. As such, some friends at I decided to go to the game. It was one of the more excited crowds I've seen in awhile, due to the fact that they got ahead big early, and the general sentiment that this might be the last chance to see them in person. The game wound up as only an 8 point victory, which gave us a moment of nervousness when Tampa tried an onside kick with less than 2 minutes to go. The Rams recovered easily, though, and the game was locked up. They're still just barely alive in the playoffs, with their chances improving more than a whole percentage point to 1.78%. We should see a few more teams clinch their spots and others get eliminated this week, but almost always at least a few will be on uncertain ground all the way until the end of Week 17.
