Yesterday was another good day for my rooting interests, though not as much for my belief in these numbers. Only Baltimore over Detroit went the expected direction. The ALDSs are quickly both 2-0, and could be over before Sunday Night Football. I'd be ok with that, as we'd get to see KC and Baltimore on full rest with their best possible pitching rotations.

In the NL, the Cardinals pulled off an 8-run inning after most of us figured the game was over. It's the playoffs, so I won't tune out no matter how bad a game gets, but I wasn't expecting a win down 6-1 with Kershaw still in the game. In the other NLDS, I don't really have a strong like or dislike of either team, so I'm just rooting for a 5-game, dragged out series, and hopefully a Cardinals sweep. I'll take any advantage the Cardinals can get this year. As the worst team by my numbers, they won't be favored to win any series until and unless they're actually ahead in the series.
