NCAA Football Power Rankings, Week 5

Air Force and Florida Atlantic opened their seasons this week, along with 3 more lower-tier teams.

Miami had a week off and SMU became the only 4-0 team, and the new #1. My system really favors a team with an extra win, which may be its downfall in this odd season.

Missouri somehow looked worse against Tennessee than Alabama, scoring 12 whole points. They're down at #66 (out of currently 74 teams).

Southern Mississippi won a game and climbed out of the basement. Your new worst team is #74 Middle Tennessee, just behind #73 Duke, both at 0-4 along with #71 UL Monroe.
