Missouri beat South Carolina to get a boost back up to #28, but the team that beat them last week, Kentucky, lost to an FCS team, Eastern Kentucky. That's not going to help Kentucky, Missouri, or any other SEC team's strength of schedule.
The answer to my season-long (or at least until they lose) question about what would have happened if LSU's first game wasn't canceled is LSU at #2 this week. So Northwestern would be #1 either way.
