My algorithm was unimpressed with Alabama's 42-point win over 0-5 Georgia State, and dropped them from #2 to #6, instead of the #1 the real polls voted them.
With games against Georgia and Florida looming, #5 is likely as high as Missouri is going to get this year, which is too bad, because I was wondering how long it might take the polls to catch up. Mizzou landed at #25 in at least one poll this week. Also Virginia Tech, freshly returned to the real top 25 this week, is all the way up at #8 here.
There are still 17 undefeated teams left, but conference schedules should start eliminating some of those soon.
