In my rankings, which follow all the rules of a BCS computer, the championship should be LSU vs. Oklahoma State, and Virginia Tech would have been #2 there if they had beaten Clemson this week.
As I'm scheduling this before the BCS rankings actually come out, I really hope Alabama doesn't wind up at #2, even though I fear they will. I think my ideal scenario this week would have been for VT and Houston to win and LSU to lose, but LSU and Alabama still wind up the National Championship, so that the BCS would at least have to take a good hard look at why that happened. As for now, as long as LSU wins the final, the BCS can justify everything by saying the best team won, and the sports world outrage can continue for another year.
