Two more teams advanced last night, knocking Chicago and Columbus out of the playoffs. Tonight Ottawa could eliminate Boston, and Toronto and Washington will resume their tied series.

I noticed St. Louis's cup chances went down slightly, from 6% to 5.9%, and that seemed weird to me, because the weaker-on-paper Nashville eliminated Chicago. Taking a closer look, their chances of beating Nashville went up, from 40.4% to 41%, but their chances of making the finals dropped slightly, because Edmonton again took the lead in their series. So while the Central division playoff bracket got a little weaker, the Pacific got stronger, more than enough to make up for it.
