eBay Wins #159

Today I've got one card from Score's "Premium" offering for 1993, Score Select. There's nothing really premium about these cards except the name, and the lack of white borders like most cards of the era. It seems like they were going for a Stadium Club feel, with the full bleed photos, but didn't want to appear to be a complete knockoff, necessitating the green border.

1993 Select #218 Tony Phillips

Tony Phillips played his last year and his first 8 years in Oakland. In between those stints, he played for 5 other teams over 9 seasons, including 5 with Detroit. He also played every position but Pitcher and Catcher over his 18 seasons.

This is only my third base card from this set, which has a very non-round total of 405 cards.
