Washington has taken the lead and now has a 61% chance of winning the cup. It would be their first, but of course it would also be Vegas's first. The Capitals have been around since 1974, though, so they've had 44ish opportunities (I hate when strikes/lockouts eliminate a whole season. It makes it really hard to sort out exactly how many seasons teams had potential to win). Even though Washington is the most likely winner overall, Vegas is still favored in each individual game, and it looks like a 7 game series is now the most likely outcome.
